Inflatable Pop Up Store for BOTTEGA VENETA

An unprecedented project that has transformed the very concept of temporary installations: this inflatable pop-up is an innovative mix of engineering, design and functionality, capable of redefining industry standards.

Its uniqueness lies in its structure, which is completely inflatable but exceptionally stable thanks to an internal truss system: the metal core is incorporated inside the inflatable, providing the necessary support for a glass roof without compromising its visual lightness.

 

With its impressive dimensions – 13 metres long, 12 metres wide and 4 metres high – the inflatable imposes itself in the space as a light but authoritative architectural volume. The special fabric used to make it is recyclable and designed to ensure durability and environmental friendliness, with energy consumption reduced to a minimum.

The interior is enhanced by a simple but effective lighting system, designed to highlight the shape, texture and volumes of the inflatable itself, creating an immersive and evocative atmosphere. The furnishings, some of which are integrated into the inflatable structure, have also been selected to complement the project without detracting from the absolute protagonist: the inflatable.

A key aspect of the project is that the structure was assembled by a local team, without our operational support on site, thanks to detailed instructions provided by us. This confirmed the system's ability to be replicated and assembled independently.

The inflatable is also portable, designed to be dismantled, transported and reassembled several times with minimal logistical and ecological impact compared to any traditional non-inflatable temporary structure.

Used as a pop-up store for a well-known fashion brand, it hosted collections of clothes, shoes and bags, attracting a large number of visitors. It proved to be not only a functional structure, but also a real visual communication tool.

The project has received recognition for its innovative design, becoming an emblematic example of how an inflatable can be transformed into a contemporary architectural and emotional experience.
