An Inflatable Globe for the Fang Fu Performance

For the Fang Fu – Beijing 2018 performance, we created a large inflatable globe designed to become the focal point of the stage set and enhance the narrative power of the show.

Suspended above the stage, the globe transformed the performance space into an immersive and evocative environment, taking the audience on a symbolic journey around the world. Surrounding it, two aerial performers, suspended from a red silk ribbon, presented an elegant choreography representing a metaphorical connection between people, cultures, and continents.

The structure was designed to integrate seamlessly with the artistic direction and the technical requirements of the performance, combining lightness, precision, and striking visual impact. Every detail was carefully developed to create a scenic element that enhanced the performers' movements and amplified the emotional intensity of the production.



This project demonstrates how an inflatable structure can become much more than a stage prop: a true expressive element capable of interacting with the performance and helping to tell a story through form, movement, and imagination.
