A Giant Bow
Palazzo Esso – wrapped for the holidays
A large red bow enveloped Palazzo Esso, a work of historical and architectural interest that has been part of the skyline of the Magliana area since the late 70s. Palazzo Esso was the work of the Spanish architect Julio Lafuente and was restored in 2009.
Designed and built as a Christmas installation to convey the idea that the whole building was decorated like a gigantic gift package, it was certainly noticed by anyone who was heading to the Fiumicino airport during the holidays!
